Dennis the Grill Boy -- Mall of Asia

Posted on 5:05 AM by gyle

“If you want to risk go ahead!”

That what I said when I was asked where I want to eat at MOA way back 2013 (asking while pointing to Dennis the Grill Boy).

A 100 pesos is a huge budget for a meal for me, but you know what now,
I changed! :D

(do not worry I won’t tell how I changed, that would be very very long. :)))

I first tasted Dennis the Grill Boy sisig, liempo was months after I said that statement.
And you know what…. We ate again after a week. :)

Located at Mall of Asia, Pasay City where you can taste a very good Crispy Sisig and liempo with UNLI-RICE.

me while waiting for our orders
I feel what I pay here is worth paying for.

this is their sisig. you can choose if you want to mix the egg with the sisig or you want it this way.

mixed egg

This is their Lechon Kawali. I forgot if I took a picture or I deleted it. (sorry)
but believe me It's worth to try.

the grilled liempo
all are pork right. hahaha

how ironic..

The restaurant I'm afraid to try before is the one I am recommending today.

because I chose to TRY!

for only 100php to 150php  you already have unli- rice and iced-tea.

because
I chose RISK. :)))
"Our lives improve only when we take chances - and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves. "
-Walter Anderson

Do not missed without even trying thing.
Crispy Sisig
Lechon Kawali
Laing

what's new?

Jack's Loft Trinoma

Posted on 10:22 PM by gyle

Last November 1 instead of going to cemetery I decided to go somewhere, just to refresh my mind that weekend.
I had my hectic weekdays so I compressed lots of activities I failed to do in one day.
I added some to my list, edit some photos, meet former colleagues, buy a new bag, update and follow-up partners and friends and make new blog posts.
One here and one for my other blog (http://mersacabal.wordpress.com).

This is my first time actually, to experience the Trinoma's veranda. Hehehe
We were at Jack's loft.
I don't know how they convinced me to eat there but it's ok maybe my friend was suffocate to mall's aircon and want to get some fresh air and smoke,
well Trinoma Veranda suits for that trip hahaha
Jack's loft in Trinoma is a small order counter but it has lots of space for customers.
you can only eat your orders outside because they don't have air conditioned area like Sumosam, Gerry's Grill Starbucks etc. which also near to Jack's loft.
anyway...
It is a good place to drink with friends especially at night,
but in our case we ate there at I think 2:30pm so we didn't drink hehehe.
They offer shakes, cakes, soups, salads pastas etc. and I can only speak for
what we ordered. :D

Green Mango Shake
P110.00

this is kinda expensive for me, maybe because of the idea of green mango fruit. :)

Fish Bowl Iced Tea

P 180.00

That was actually my first time to see an iced tea in a fish bowl haha
I suddenly said "good thing I didn't order a drink!"
I think this drink is designed to share. :D

Death by Chocolate cake

P88.00
I like the price, hehe I thought I would be more happier when I take my first bite, but I was wrong :(
maybe because I looked for sweet chocolate loaf but its ok.

Jack's Cheese Fries

P150.00
Among the orders this is the best! :)))) I love fries and Jack's Loft offers a good one!
KUDOS for their FRIES!! yehey! I really really like it...

I want more FRIES! :D

All in all they have a good presentation in serving their food and i think that is one of the important thing I like.
Jack's Loft would be on my option list.
:)

Jipangyi -- SM Bicutan

Posted on 7:25 PM by gyle

oh yeah its a Korean soft served ice cream!

at SM Bicutan, Parañaque I first saw this stall .
nothing's special aside from the cane cone,
one good strategy huh..

honestly again because of its Korean Character on their logo caught the attention and attraction of the people. hahaha

It will only cost you P35 pesos.

not bad if you are craving for an ice cream
the taste was like the normal ice cream offered like Tito Juvs (I should blog this ice cream stall next time) which offers lower price than Jipangyi.

I like the Uniqueness of the cone.
like! like!

Girl or Boy, Adult or Kids gave a try for Jipangyi, the Seoul cane ice cream.

Oriental Seoul -- Mandaluyong

Posted on 9:18 PM by gyle

Do you know where it is?

Nowadays, Korean things are very famous in the Philippines from music, movies, TV shows, fashions to foods Filipinos support it all.

Wherever you go there is always a Korean fan.

Me? not really. HAHAHA just a little. :D

I am not updated in their latest news, I just overheard some.

Anyway, when it comes to their foods I have some of their dishes I really like that is why when we were out at mall its a big factor when a restaurant offers Korean dishes.

I tried lots that offers Korean dishes some are buffet, fine dine, Restaurant, Fast food and even in Stalls

like Oriental Seoul located at Foodcourt,SM Megamall.

I don't know if they have any other branch here in the Philippines.

my friend waiting for our orders

Oriental Seoul is one of our choices when we were at SM Megamall, aside from the cheap price, they offer the foods with a high quality. I said cheap because in one serving you can split it and share it with a friend

we usually order their curry chicken for my friend loves curries but they no longer serving the curry chicken so we tried their new sauce. It was also good but much better if they will bring the curry chicken. heheheh

beef bento
this is the beef bento ordered by my friend, the salad is really good whether you choose to eat it alone or with your chosen meal.

korean ramen
whenever I eat Korean dishes their Korean ramen makes me feels more that what I ate was a Korean.

this always the finale. :)

even we are not in Korean ambiance

try Oriental Seoul and you will have no regrets.

Posted on 9:35 PM by gyle
Let's try some at Roviliaz

It was a sunday, sept. 27 when we celebrated the post birthday of my friend together with my childhood best friends we planned to go to Roviliaz. It is located along Dona Soledad ave. in Better Living Subdivision, when we parked, we immediately thought first that we cannot be accomodated here because of the small area alotted and can't be entertained for that time they have lots of guests but out of my eagerness to try Roviliaz we decided to check out the place, they opened the door for us and said there's a lot more seats upstair maybe they saw on our face the hesitation concerning the seats so we final our decision to continue what was planned, I want to recognize the staffs for welcoming us with their warming smiles and noble services.

While waiting for others we talked to the staffs and ask if I can took some photos of the place, I haven't expected that they will open and turn on all the lights of their activity area just for me to take shots.(my camera isn't for profesional.hihihi)

In fairness to their activity and party area it is good one for meetings and adults party. just ask one of the staff and they will lead you to the person in charge of the place.
