Rodeo Grill

Posted on 7:50 PM by gyle

It was a good weather when we ate at Rodeo Grill SM Bicutan.

Before anything else Rodeo Grill have only two branches here in the Philippines--Cebu City and SM Bicutan, to tell you honestly aside from the pictures of their foods posted at the store I was set in motion when I knew that Rodeo Grill SM Bicutan is the first branch in Manila (hehehe).

with my two childhood friend we tried it for the first time, actually It should be my first post here at sublime instant but I have to compile our pictures first.

Our first get together after a long while due to our own businesses schedule.

They are also offering UNLI-RICE.

like what I ordered was their Lechon De Cebu they serve it by meal or by kilo, among our orders this is what I love, It's tasty!
now I know they said because it is made of 15 herbs and spices.

You can have it for P149.00/meal or P479.00/kilo

Rodeo Grill Lechon De Cebu
when It comes to grilling they are good with it, my friend ordered Lonestar Fish, it is grilled fish fillet,
The first grilled fish fillet I ever saw. still fish so I like my order.

you can also have it with unlimited rice for only P149.00.

Grilled again. Chicken Barbeque for my friend, I feel like its a common kind of grilled chicken but its not, this is my second place. hahaha
by the way this is their bestseller.
John Waynes Chicken.
Cool name Rodeo!

You can have it for only P99.00 only of course with unlimited rice.

as far as I remembered they only have two desserts or we just down on two (sorry I forgot),
the picture doesn't like encouraging hehe but it's good.
this is cake with vanilla ice cream on top.

BEWARE:
the cake is hot do not put into your mouth quickly you will get tongue burn. :)
(just a friendly reminder do not do what I did.)

now, Rodeo Grill expand at SM Cebu their third branch.

Eton's Cafe -- Better Living

Posted on 6:27 AM by gyle

 Let's try Eton's Restaurant.

When you are always passing Doña Soledad Avenue It's impossible for you not to notice this Restaurant It's 2005 Miss International  Precious Lara Quigaman's picture at the sign board before I thought that maybe they just put the picture of Lara to attract customers but as time goes by I overheard that It's Lara's.

I always see this place with customers so I don't think that I was not a good choice to dine - in.

After paying bills at SM Bicutan, My friend and I decided to meet our childhood neighbor and friend to have lunch since they're residing near Eton's and It was almost 6 years since we got together.

Eton's is a small place only but they offers good foods. It has only 1 parking space so we parked just a little far. As a business person I like the place of Eton's, It is located at the main road and in front of Parañaque Doctors Hospital (PDH) only failed for the customers parking.

with Precious Lara Quigaman's Pictures on the wall of Eton's

Most of their customers are in group (family, friend, workmates etc.) like we did we ordered two good for "2 to 3 persons" servings then we just add another rice for us.
free soup
We ordered Seafood chapsuey like which is good for 2 to 3 persons. It was good. I'm liking Vegetables now so I appreciate this, only the Shrimp was steamed so I ate 1 peace only,

one thing I like the food presentation. :)

The best is their Sisig! I think this is their flagship recipe. We all like the sisig!

for our main course we only cost more or less P500.00 for four.

for our desserts one ordered Chocolate Frappe and the three ordered Fruit Shake.
for shakes its like the normal shakes we do at home nothing special only the glass. hehe

P50.00 per fruit shake.
watermelon shake

mango shake

green mango shake
I think the most especial among these drinks is the Chocolate Frappe I taste like not the normal chocolate frappe. It will cost you P95.00

All in all we had a great time in a great place.
After 5 years we meet again at Eton's Restaurant.

I almost forgot before we order our foods I asked one of the waitress if the place was owned by Miss Lara, but according to her It was owned by Lara's Uncle only  Lara visits Eton's quite sometimes.

Yakiniku Sambokojin

Posted on 6:46 PM by gyle
Yakiniku
(焼き肉 or 焼肉)
meaning "grilled meat", is a Japanese term which, in its broadest sense, refers to grilled meat dishes.
as wikipedia said.

among all yakiniku restaurant here in the Philippines Sambokojin is my first ever tasted yakiniku buffet and I am loving it even I am not a fan of Japanese and Korean cuisines, I don't feel any wasted money and time when I experienced sambokojin.

Now, they have announced that they are having their discounted price on Monday to Friday, Lunch time.

got this from Sambokojin's FB page

I tried many branches of Sambokojin with my two best eating buddies, they are also my business partners  and friend, we enjoy eating on a buffet especially Christmas season or Birthday celebration because if we do it more often it will be always cheat day for us although Sambokojin offerrs much healthier food variants than most of here in the Philippines.

waiting to be grilled

I heart shrimp or prawns?

This is me getting my ice cream, this is what I love in Sambo I get my Ice cream on my own. my all time favorite flavor, Chocolates!

my friend did on his Ice cream.

They also have different kinds of cakes and sweets aside from Ice creams. I only love sweet cakes. hehehe

while grilling :))))

so full that we cannot breath.

After what we are eaten, we always leaving Sambokojin with out any guilt, weary and exhaust. still, Sambokojin is still in our option list.

Bake and Brew - Parañaque

Posted on 11:31 PM by gyle
Every time I passed Saudi Arabia Street whenever I'm heading to SM Bicutan I always noticed this cafeteria it was quite new for me because I often use the street of  United Nation. Anyway one wednesday when my friend induce us (me and one of our friend) to have lunch after his work which headed to a late lunch, since I have no outside Better Living appointment we decided to try in this new cafeteria which I newly knew it was been already a 11th month in Better Living.

As we walked inside the place we know that we will like this cafeteria even without tasting their food. the place is good for friends, business meeting or  family to relax.

Miguel and Gabriel's Bake and Brew

Friendly ambiance of Bake and Brew
Barako Beans cased in glass as table
I originally ordered their Chicken sandwich but the one who assisted our order introduced and suggested their new sandwich with grilled chicken as stuff, It wasn't at the menu but sounds delicious so I changed my order to what he suggested. It didn't fail me. It's so good the serving was big that you can even share it with a friend.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich
I took a bite at my friends order Spanish sardines sandwich. Honestly, I don't have any good taste for sardines maybe because I am not a fish eater (hehe) but I like this sandwich, I haven't thought that we will be having this kind of food near our place. Love it.

Spanish Sardines Sandwich

We also tasted the pasta pesto of the cafe, my another friend who really loves pastas know that what he ordered was a good kind of pasta he's kinda healthy boring. hahaha
Pasta Pesto
after our main course we next ordered desserts, my two friends ordered cupcakes while I ordered cheescake i think it was oreo cheesecake. I just forget the name of their orders but all are good.

TWO THUMBS UP!

we are planning to visit again the place but with our other friends.

All in all if you are in a healthy diet or sweet diet you will surely love their offers.

Whenever you passed by in the area better to try Bake and Brew.

Located on Saudi Arabia Street Better Living Subdivision, Parañaque City.

this is the cafe's menu for you.
